James Talarico, Democratic, is certified for U.S. Senate. The Texas House lists him as the representative for District 50, in part of Travis County, and the House biography says he was first elected in 2018 and is a former public school teacher. The Federal Election Commission lists James Talarico as a Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate, with Talarico for Texas as his principal campaign committee.
