Background
My work background is in corporate communications and I have a Master’s in Strategic Communications. For the past few years I been volunteering for the Green Party of Texas, helping in fundraising, spreading awareness and communication design.
Why I am running
I am running because the system has been failing everyday Texans for far too long. The people need a candidate who is not detached from the reality of the struggles of Texans. As Comptroller, I wish to bring accountability to how our tax dollars are being spent.
Top priorities
- Removing wasteful corporate Tax breaks, particularly for Data Centers.
- Reassessing the school voucher system which is funneling money away from public education.
- Bring transparency to government tax dollar allocation.
